Every Friday from 1st April - 6th May 2022 11am-1pm (GMT+1)
Cost: 60€ or £60 for the 6 weeks
The second of my Zoom workshops for 2022 will be all about portraiture. This time I have chosen to explore artists and techniques that have heavily influenced my own portrait work over the years (Leonardo da Vinci, Lucian Freud, Dod proctor, Stanley Spencer, Gwen John.....). So this one is from the heart if you like, and aims to explore all the skills and techniques that I have learned since setting out on my art journey. For fear of sounding self-indulgent, I feel I should clarify that my aim here, as a teacher, is to impart the very best of my knowledge and expertise (which essentially lies within this field). My art school background was loosely based on the 'Classical Atelier' approach to drawing and painting so I will be using this as the underpinning knowledge from which we can then create more emotive portraits.
The cost is 60€ or £60 for the full course (minimum of 6 participants needed for this to take place).
Materials needed: Anything coloured! (Oils, soft and/or oil pastels, watercolours)
